AT YOUR BARK AND CALL
Just for fun I contacted a pet communicator to talk to Tuffy. Tuffy told her he likes you the best of all his pet sitters because you take time to talk to him and interact with him!
Marsha and Kirk Shortell for Tuffy
Caren,
It was great meeting you and having your help with the dogs. Together with our vet at North Asheville Veterinarians, your care was the best we've ever had for the girls. We wish you continued success with your biz.
Best, Jon and Heidi for Lucy and Dinah
Just wanted to thank you for your help while we were in the SW. You are by far the most conscientious pet sitter we’ve ever had.
Pat and Charlie Clogston for Princess Daphne and Zippity
Caren,
Thanks so much for your resourcefulness under duress. You are indeed a pro!
Stephen Canner and Linda Zolyak for Emma and Grace
You passed the cleanliness test AND some. We will be calling you again!
Wendy and Joe Bell for Dingo, Buster, Christa, Molly, Cosita, and in memory of Missy - 2/02
We want to again express our thanks and appreciation for the great work you do with the chickens and guineas. We feel so confident when we leave them in your care, and that gives us so much peace of mind.
April and Beth for Rockachick Farm
You have been more than a petsitter for our family and we appreciate everything you do for all of us. We look forward to another contented year.
Wendy and Joe Bell - 12/03
Hi Caren - Just wanted to send you a note to let you know that we had a talk with Patty Summers, the animal communicator today. And you will be glad to know that Clyde said he likes the pet sitter with the short dark hair (gotta be you, we never had anyone else watch him with that description), he feels that you are more calm, less juvenile, more centered than our other sitters.
Tania and Jason Wells for Clyde and Cleo
Tammy and Caren - Thank you both for being such good friends to all of us - especially Sky. What peace of mind it was to leave Sky with you knowing he would be loved, pampered, and well cared for. His greeting when he saw either of you was evidence of how much he loved you back. I am so thankful you have been our pet sitter and cannot express enough what that has meant. I’m so hopeful Sky has someone in Greenville who will give him the same level of care.
Susan and John Lumpkin for Sky
Dear Caren,
Thank you so much for the wonderful care you took of Sophie, IT, and the fish. We wouldn't be able to enjoy vacation if we didn't feel our fur/fin family was in the best of hands. We truly appreciate it!
Rob, Mishele, Stella, and Owen Fields for Sophie, IT, and the fish
May the day come soon when all 4-legged and 2-legged creatures live in peace. Thank you for doing your part to make it happen and hasten the day! You are wonderful - and Lily thinks so too!
Nancy Sehested for Lily
Hi Caren: I just wanted to write and put into words:
I can't tell you enough how nice it is to come home to such calm and content kitties. I missed them terribly, but came home and found them . . . well just plain happy. Of course a tiny part of me wondered--why don't they miss me--but then I realized--how wonderful--sure they love me and miss me, but they aren't stressed out--because they got good care and lovin'.
Anyone can clean a litter box--but only a special person can pass on a sense of security and love..all 7 are totally content
Thank you! My next trip will be that much easier,
Jacqui Adams for Trisha, Dennis, Bobby, Samantha, Tabitha, Bug, and Blue
You, my dear, are unique.Do you realize this? You have the ability to instantly connect with animals and to intuit what is going on with them. The more I interact with other animal lovers--even vets--I marvel that this is rare indeed.
Wendy Bell for Christa, Buster, Dingo, Cosita, and Molly
Hi, Caren!
Again, many thanks for everything you did for Chairman and Golda. It’s obvious that you went so far above my expectations for “pet care” for my two monsters. And I can tell that this is not just a profession for you…you really do care very much for both Chairman and Golda. You are only the second woman to whom Chairman has really warmed (my son’s girlfriend being the other). How do I know all this? For the first time since EVER, I came back from a trip and I didn’t get “the cold shoulder” from either Chairman or Golda…they both demanded their cuddle time immediately upon arrival, and that has never happened; usually I am “punished” for at least a day.
Again, many thanks, and I’m sure they’ll be delighted to know that I’ll be gone again in June!
Aloha no and mahalo nui loa, Todd Anderson for Chairman and Golda
Hi Caren:
Girls are both doing well and really starting to enjoy their new home. They wanted to let you know that they really enjoyed getting to know you. They keep asking me to go away so you can come and visit with them. I told them that I don't have any trips planned at the moment and their resonse was go to a motel.
Diane Adam for Madison and Emily
Caren,
Thank you for your professionalism, your care and your special way with all things furry! My dogs adore you and so do we. I have complete confidence when entrusting Ren and Gemma to your care. You make being away from them much easier. Thanks again!
Constance and Michael for Ren and Gemma
Hi Caren,
I laughed when I saw your note about the canned food – it was funny because they acted more excited than usual when I went to their bowl – I gave them a package and they went nuts. So…I've decided to let you be the one to spoil them! I've put some additional cans near their food – feel free to give it to them if you want. I figure they'll then see you as the "good guy" and be really excited to see you. Nothing like a good bribe, eh? Honey also went nuts over the laser pen!
You have really made my life so much easier – I can't tell you how nice it is to be able to meet my obligations for work travel without panicking over "child care" – I really don't see how working moms do it with the non-furry kids!
Thanks again,
Linda Coye for Honey and Zipper
Hi Caren...
All is well here...we both took a little nap yesterday when we got home! Once again I truly appreciate you taking her on "as one of your own" - I am so happy I found you! Bella was perfectly happy and normal when we got home so she was not disrupted by the visit at all, which is great.
Thanks again...and I will be sure to let you know when we go out of town again and cannot take her with us! Happy holidays!
Stef Kuhns for Bella
This means so much. The cats are my number one priority of course and you have really made me feel excited about my trip rather then feel it was almost something I had to get through. Of course I know that Star is an old guy and while maintaining for seven months now in pretty good spirits and at least not losing weight, he is not going to bounce back like a young cat. I told my daughter that if Star did pass while I was away there was no one else I would rather have there then you if it couldn't be me. I hope I don't make you feel worried because I sense things are going to go great. They are just such habitual creatures now they find great comfort in old routines and familiar places. They are so glad I didn't decide to move again this year. They are settled in and feel comfortable with the territory and that's how I like them to be when I'm gone. I always had family to watch them before when young. Thank you so much again.
